Eric Gleeson.

Eric has excelled at drums since beginning lessons with Kevin. As a teacher it is always great to see your students begin music with an interest and then really make it their own. During his early years, Eric was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School Concert Band, Jazz Band and auditioned for the first time for All District, in which he secured 2^nd chair. While a student at Charlotte Catholic High School, Eric was a member of the Concert Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band Drumline. He excelled under Kevin’s instruction. He was named Drum Captain for the Marching Band during his Junior and Senior years. He was awarded the most outstanding freshman his first year at Charlotte Catholic High. He auditioned for All District and secured 1^st chair in 9^th grade, 2^nd chair in 10^th grade and 2^nd chair in 12^th grade. All District is a very competitive music program in which only the top performers in the area are selected to be a part. While in 12^th grade Eric was selected to perform in the NC All State Band. In 10^th grade he was a member of the Junior Youth Orchestra. His sophomore through senior year he performed with the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra. His junior and senior year he performed with the Charlotte Youth Wind Ensemble as well as performing with the band Kids in a Sandbox, which recorded and released its first Album in 2008. Eric currently is excelling as a student at Appalachian State University. He auditioned for and secured his place with the Appalachian State University’s Drumline on tenors. He also has been a member of the Boston Crusaders for the past 2 years, which is a competitive drum and bugle corps. In his spare time, Eric helps students grow as musicians by sharing the knowledge that Kevin has taught him.

Matt Fandry.

Matt has been studying the art of drumming with Kevin White for over 5 Years. During his time with Kevin he earned 1^st chair at the South Central All District competition.

Matt also was very involved with his school band. He has had many successes including playing in the following ensembles: Bruns Avenue Elementary School beginner band, honors band-snare/percussion, Smith Middle School 6th grade band, Smith Academy 7^th and 8^th band, Smith Academy wind ensemble, Smith Academy 7^th and 8^th band, Smith Academy wind ensemble, all-district band-2nd chair snare/percussion, all-county band-4th chair snare/percussion, Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra, Waddell High School marching band (snare), Waddell High School concert band, Wingate University invitational band, Myers Park High School marching band (snare), Myers Park High School wind ensemble, performed in "A Day in Eden" production, all county band-1st chair snare, Myers Park High School jazz ensemble, and the all-district band-1st chair snare.
